Captain Kevin had a crew out of the Indianapolis area for his Thursday charter and the weather was just perfect. Started out pretty choppy until they got to deeper waters. And thanks to some work done to the boat over winter, he was able to get up to 37 mph and out of those choppy waters pretty quickly.

It was one of those ideal days for fishing when you’re worried you’ll go over your limit and you have to start pulling rods quick so more fish don’t get on the line. Using two nets at some points of the trip because the fish were hooking up fast and at the same time. Fish were jumping out of the water ready to get in the boat.

The day ended with six trout, 17 Coho and two Steelhead… 2 Kings went back into the Lake so can bigger for the next time they hook up.
